This 800 year old Castle previously belonged to Pere Mararit, a captain who served with Columbus. He discovered and named Margarita Island in 1498. History lesson over this is now a beautiful hotel which is perfect for chilling out. It is set on a hill and offers wonderful views over the Catalan countryside.
If you stay in a tower room be prepared for a long climb. It is worth every step though for the chance to stay in a fairytale castle.
